Everyone can participate in the We Made This Movie project!

We Made This Movie celebrates the joy of creating something that is your own and sharing it with the world. So, we’re opening it up so that the participants formerly known as the audience can join in the creation and sharing.

The movie itself is about a group of kids who set out to make a movie to escape their looming future in a depressed blue-collar town. And now we want to find and promote musicians whose talent and passion are bigger than the world they are currently reaching.

You can write This Movie’s 4 songs!

We have partnered with Red Bull Soundstage, a web-based platform for aspiring artists, to host a competition to find musicians to make music for our movie. The chosen songs will become part of the official soundtrack for the movie.

Top finalists will also join the Red Bull Soundstage and be eligible for a gig on The Late Show with David Letterman! *Winners Being Announced Soon!

You can influence This Movie!

Not only can you vote for your favorite tracks, and strike up a conversation with the musicians entered in the music contest, you’ll participate in conversations (online or in person) with the movie’s producers, actors, and members of Hollywood and the technology community on how the Web is changing the way movies are made. We’ll be announcing special events on our website soon!

Everyone loves an old-fashioned, glamorous movie premiere. So, stayed tuned to our website and Facebook and Twitter pages for all the announcements on how you can win free tickets to walk the red carpet at our NYC movie premiere on September 20^th.

Can’t get a ticket? You can still attend our free Web premiere, which will be live streamed by our partner, Snagfilms.com. And, during the premiere, you can hang out and chat with the movie’s producers, actors and special guests.
